Moreover, feature phone users successfully backed up their personal information toward a smartphone.
The Process & The Timeline
Why We Started the Project
iPhone 4 released on 10th September 2010 in Korea was a game-changer in the cell phone market.
The year of 2011 was at the beginning of the smartphone craze.
Millions of people needed to transfer their information like contacts, events and so on to smartphones.
A new PIMS and infrastructure were required due to radical changes in the mobile market.
The Service Value
mySYNC provided various functions for an address book, events, memos and personal content
based on synchronization between the website and multiple devices.
Challenges & Risks
The most serious problem was that the main UX concept of the service was not been defined until even 30 percent of the project duration passed.
We needed to tackle this problem urgently to move on.
Passionate members and I devoted to designing a robust definition of functions and a service concept within a month.

I went through trials and errors while designing the smartphone apps, but I was touched with the successful launch of my first apps.

I want to have the same interfaces on NOKIA and Window Mobile apps.”
As I designed the whole UX•UI of the app,
I was tremendously impressed with his comment.

Customized features for Koreans “Search by consonant of Korean” and “Group messaging” were designed.
The Outcome
